How do I purchase a Gift Card?

At any AMVETS Thrift Store location, ask a cashier or store associate for a Gift Card.
Register your card online at the website address: www.supportthevets.org/replaceme or download the “AMVETS Thrift”app on your mobile device.
What are the gift card limits?

Gift cards may be purcahsed in $5 minimums and $500 maximums.
How do I redeem my Gift Card?

Simply inform the cashier you wish to pay using an AMVETS Gift Card and what amount you'd like to use if any.

Example: You would only like to use $10 toward a purchase of $20.
Are there any limitations on what Gift Cards can be redeemed for?

Gift Cards can be redeemed for anything in the store unless otherwise noted.

Gift Cards cannot be redeemed toward the purchase of a gift card.

Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.

Where can I view a history of my transactions?

Transaction histories can be viewed through the online member portal (www.supportthevets.org/changeme) or within the AMVETS Thrift mobile app.
Do Gift Cards expire?

The avalible balance on your gift card does not expire.

Inactivity or service fees may apply to promotional Gift Cards.

What do I do if my card has been lost, damaged, or stolen?

You may notify us at any AMVETS Thrift Store or send an email to AMVETS@supportthevets.org. At this point the card will be deactivated.

If you have an Available Balance at the time of deactivation, it can be requested that the balance be transferred to a new card.
